Jason Pearce

Jason Pearce is a dance artist based in Melbourne (Naarm) and Canberra (Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country). After dancing with QL2 for a number of years he attended the Victorian College of the Arts, completing his BFA (Dance) in 2019.

 

His work explores imagined futures and alternate worlds, and raises questions about our impact on our surroundings - examining the consequences of action and inaction, and the effect the few have on the many.

 

Jason’s choreography has been supported by Lucy Guerin Inc., Temperance Hall, ArtsACT and QL2. His work ALL BLANK WASTELAND was selected to be shown in the Festival Hub during the Melbourne Fringe Festival (2022). He has most recently developed two works for QL2 for their Chaos project (2023, 2024).
